This year's annual subject specific training for instructors of UW in the High School Latin courses, organized by course coordinator Catherine Connors,  is cordially open to all who are interested in the teaching of Latin.  

There is a new schedule for this year:  If you are not teaching in the UWHS program lunch is not provided for you, but you are very  welcome to join either or both of the subject training sessions held 9:30-11:30 and 1:30-4:30 in Denny 259. 

Denny Hall 257 9:30-11:30 am:  Newly approved teachers or teachers teaching a course for the first time meet with their coordinators/liaisons for subject specific training (check-in starting at 9:15 am)  

Latin 307: Vergil's Aeneid   curriculum and learning objectives. We will be piloting Latin 307: Vergil's Aeneid,  a new UWHS course in Au 2019. 

Intellectual House 11:30-1:15 pm: Lunch buffet, networking and program updates for new and returning teachers

Denny Hall 257 1:30-4:30 pm:    New and returning teachers meet with their coordinators/liaisons for subject specific professional development workshop sessions

1:30-2:30 Update on UWHS Latin 103: curriculum, instruction, and assessment;
