The Medieval Studies Graduate Interest Group holds a celebration of the ancient, medieval, and early modern languages, literatures, and cultures studied at the UW. Graduate students and faculty from Classics, English, Drama, History, Italian, and East Asian Languages as well as librarians from Special Collections have come together to host a pre-modern fair in the Allen Research Commons.

Explore Classical Greece and Rome! Check out medieval manuscripts and try your hand as a scribe! Participate in a producing a medieval play! Defeat your opponents in a jousting contest! Discover terrae incognitae on medieval maps and hunt for monsters! Learn to speak English like Geoffrey Chaucer did! Free and open to the public. Help us maken melodye as we celebrate al the langages that have come bifor, and alle their joyes and sorrowes and richesse.
