Undergraduate Spring open house: using a classics degree in your career

Welcome to the Spring 24 Classics Undergraduate Open House.

Ever wondered how to translate what you're learning in college into what employers are looking for? The communication, project management and analytical skills you are building in humanities classes are valuable to employers. Our special guest at this open house is Catherine Basl, who earned her B.A. in Latin at UW in 2010 and has worked extensively in career counseling. Catherine will share her perspectives with us in conversation for the first thirty minutes, followed by time for general socializing. Everyone is welcome to stop in at any point during the session. Drinks and snacks will be served.
