Prof. Chris Waldo engaged in a lively conversation with the UW Alumni Book Club on Tuesday, December 7, in conjunction with their reading of Anthony Doerr's Cloud Cuckoo Land. Among other things, he discussed the joys of reading Greek, the exciting ways the field of Classics is changing in the 21st century, and the continued relevance of the stories and cultures of Greco-Roman antiquity.
