Melissa Barker, a UW Classics major, won a prestigious Irene Dickson McFarlane Tuition Scholarship for the 2022-23 academic year. This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to highly deserving Washington State resident students majoring in the College of Arts and Sciences. A talented linguist, a thoughtful conversationalist, and a stellar writer, Melissa continues to impress us all!
