Christopher Nolan's latest film, The Odyssey, has everyone talking, including classicists. Find out here what our own Olga Levaniouk, a specialist on ancient Greek poetry, Homer, and in particular, the Odyssey (see, e.g., her 2010 book Eve of the Festival: Making Myth in Odyssey 19), thought about the movie in general and in particular what she liked about the figure of Penelope, played by Anne Hathaway. Her piece appears in Classical Continuum, an Open Access platform sponsored by the New Alexandria Foundation.
