    We are proud to announce that two of our graduate students have won prestigious dissertation fellowships for the 2025-26 academic year.
Lauryn Hanley has received a grant from the Fulbright Program which she will use to study in Greece during Winter and Spring Quarters. Lauryn will continue her work on her dissertation on caves in ancient Greek religion, literature and society.
Laura Harris has been awarded the biannual Alvord Endowed Fellowship in the Humanities from the University of Washington College of Arts & Sciences. She will use this generous fellowship to complete her dissertation on asexuality in Latin poetry.
