This includes general participation in seminar discussion and preparedness (40%) as well as a class report (10%) and presentation of research on paper (10%)

Paper should be at least ten pages in length

Explore a theme or aspect or text that interests you. An option is to produce your own translation and commentary of text by AH and Robert Daniel of an unpublished curse tablet from Syrian Antioch or from Caesarea.

NOTE: since the material is unpublished, you will not be able to publish any work you may create based on this material until it is published by the editors of the text (AH and Robert Daniel).
